“Why do you go away? So that you can come back. So that you can see the place you came from with new eyes and extra colors. And the people there see you differently, too. Coming back to where you started is not the same as never leaving.”
― Terry Pratchett, A Hat Full of Sky

This is how I have been feeling since I arrived back home. I am literally in love with the landscape. Did I see it before? I think so! Did I love it before? No! The colours are neutral with greys, browns, beige and greens. However, when you look closely you see the bright colours like yellow, purple, pinks, reds. It is all so subtle yet stunning. Added to this, it feels as if I am wearing my favourite pair of jeans. I just feel so me at this point. I feel comfortable. I adored my experience in Brazil, and I immersed myself as much as possible. But on returning, I realised I had been wearing a new pair of jeans that were tight and slightly uncomfortable. But I know I would not have appreciated the every day here without experiencing a new culture and new sights.

This month, my girls and I went out and captured some of this beauty. I am happy to share these images with you. Enjoy!
