It was a cold, wet, and windy Sunday. We didn’t know what to do, and we decided to fill up our art box with new supplies. We dressed up warmly and spent time looking at all the new supplies that are now available. As we “oohed and aahed”, it felt a little like Christmas looking at all the pretty colours and material. We picked our favorites and returned home. We lit the fire, made popcorn and spent the afternoon making and creating.

For 30 minutes of our afternoon, I captured my two little artist creating. I love their concentration and their busy little hands.

I am happy to share these images with you. Enjoy!

These show remarkable diversity! I love the framing in the one of your daughter peeking through her project. I LOVE the very first one (it's my favorite, but I have such a soft spot for those). And the last two are the very essence of sisterhood and then that age. A beautiful offering.

I love the colors in your pictures - so nice and bright. Fun things to do on rainy days. I remember doing a lot of this as a child. Thank you for sharing.

It did look like Christmas! Really thoughtful and artistic capture. I loved the use of light in the black and white images and the shallow depth of field. Lovely. I'm breathing a little deeper after viewing those.

Beautiful girls and wonderful storytelling images! Love how some are dark and some are bright and colorful--like they're symbolic of you guys making the most out of a cold and wet day.
