This week at  http://www.iheartfaces.com/ the theme  for the photo challenge is “let them be little”. The dressing-up phase is my favourite for the toddler stage. I love the sparkle they have in their eye when they create their own costume. I love the voices they make to become the scary witch or the mean pirate. I love how they can spend hours, wearing the costume, and being the character. I had to share this image for the photo challenge this week. The roaring was the little lion’s idea.

Great pic. Just have to wonder where you were positioned to catch this one. Maybe up on a tree branch?! Love the angle.

Thank you for the lovely comments. @ Jayne of all trades..no tree climbing. Just a very brave lion, who loves to swing high and I captured the image on the way down.

Ha, ha! Love this. My daughter is in this stage. Her favorite character: a pirate. Lets just say we had a blast on "talk like a pirate day" a few months back, lol!

I love this! Isn't fun watching them as they act out their favorite characters?! And it's not just at Halloween either!
