This summer, we have really enjoyed Sydney’s beaches. We have enjoyed waking up early on a Saturday morning, packing the car with towels, sunscreen, and a picnic. Driving to the beach, and spending time together as a family. We have played in the water, built sandcastles, walked around the rocks. We left the beach to return home sun kissed and tired. We didn’t go every week, but it has become part of our family time together.
As Autumn said hello, and Summer held on tight to her last days, we are now visiting the beach less. On this day, we enjoyed our last day at the beach for this season. The water was a little colder, and you felt cooler in the shade. The sun shined brightly but it had lost it’s sting. We spent more time playing in the sand, and less time in the water. But our day was just as beautiful, and as we walked back to the car, I felt our summer end. Another day to cherish!
