Summer Christmas photos: family portraits in Sydney

Every year, Melissa makes a family calendar to give to her family and friends as a gift. She decided she wanted to add recent images, with a summer Christmas theme. We chatted back and forth via email, and then decided on the style of the session.

We met at a park in the afternoon, and it was super hot and humid. Everybody was dressed-up in beautiful clothes, and we were all perspiring. It was so hot. On top of that, an afternoon storm was rolling in, so we moved quickly.

We started the session with the children decorating a tree, they read Christmas stories, snacked on grapes and chocolate, and then we went for a run, skip, and play.
